We have begun playing around with Adobe’s web-hosted application called Kuler - which allows you to share, explore, and create color themes. We found it useful for generating color themes that can inspire projects that may be stuck in the mud or need a little creative kick in the pants.  It allows you to “experiment quickly with color variations and browse thousands of themes from the Kuler community”. By the way, the Kuler community os active and large - boasting approximately 70,000 monthly uniques and receives several hundred palette uploads each day. Our favorite feature is the photo color palette generator where you  can upload one of your photos, and Kuler will automatically create  a color palette based on the colors found in your photo.
